Hi.
I'm currently using your tool, thanks for it.
There one thing I wanted to ask about selecting. When I select a part of my sprite with a mirror mode, selection happens from both sides (where I selected and on opposite side), but when I try to move my selection both parts move at the same direction. Is it possible for my selection movement to be impacted by current mirror modes?

Here I wanted to move selected items away from center.

Hello! This is not possible at the moment unfortunately. We may attempt implementing this in a future update, but it will be a challenge with the way the selection system is currently coded, so we can't promise anything at the moment.

It's fine 👍

Considering that this feature requires all selection system changed, this might not be the thing you should worry about much.

I will like your program as it is now anyways.

Hey I noticed you have a .apk file, I was wondering how you built it? And what language this was coded in! If it's C++, I'd be very interested in what builder you used for an APK. Thanks!

Hy, the apk file is generated using the Godot Game Engine, The software is written in GdScript language.

Not sure if anyone else would need this, but is there a way to export each *layer* as spritesheet cell?

I have an item I'm making for a game that has 16 pieces (Basically an intricate wig) separated into layers that are going to overlap in the game and be physics animated.

Putting it in animation frames would be weird because then I think I couldn't see all the pieces together as a whole in Pixelorama.

Thanks!

Hy i think you are looking for the LayerSpritesheet extension.

Edit: it seems the link i pasted gives warning for me, if it does, you can ignore the link, and open readme through pixelorama's official extension explorer instead.

You can directly download it through Edit > Preferences > Extensions > Explore online.

Ooooh that's awesome, thank you!

This feature will also be available built-in in the next stable version of Pixelorama, v1.1.9 :)

Hello! I want to say thank you for creating this wonderful tool and all the work you put into it! Tried it and love it instantly!

I just found out that quick color picker(the one appear in the shortcut setting) use different option from color picker and it seem like there is no way to change pick mode for it.

Also I am a hobby artist myself and I want to politely ask is there any plan to add liquidify tool?

It is a brush tool let you deform part of a layer to quickly fix proportion & silhouette and it is a very useful feature among digital painting softwares like Clip Studio Paint or Krita.

Hello, thank you for the feedback! Yeah, at the moment there is no way to change the pick mode of the quick color picker, you can only change the color picker tool's pick mode. As for the liquidify tool, there are no plans at the moment, but we will keep it in mind for a future version!

I like this tool very much but all my shortcuts became unset after updating to 1.1.8

I really want to know how should I fix this!

Hello, you can go to the Edit menu, Preferences, and under the Shortcuts category, click on the Reset button. This should fix the issue :)

Thank you so much!

This must have happened during one of the last updates, but suddenly not every one of my mouseclicks (when painting) registers in the program. At first I thought my mouse is broken, so I fired up KolourPaint to see if it persists, but no, everything worked fine.

Like, when I draw a straight line, sometimes it interrupts. Same with singular clicks, sometimes it does not register.

Ok I modified the density value without noticing. That's not even the first time this happened. Wish this was placed somewhere else, since I don't need it, and it's easy to accidentally modify while your changing the brush size.

I use ctrl+mouse wheel to change the brush size

13/10 Would Recommend (and have, and plan to continue!)

I recommended Itch to add Pixelorama to the list of tools that creators can list as having used on their projects. For the game I'm developing presently, my entire pipeline for art assets is Pixelorama & Tiled and I've yet to have need of anything else.

Thank you very much for the kind words! And good job with the artwork, it looks amazing! :D

I have really been enjoying doing my game dev on Pixelorama! The tileset tool is very useful. Is there an easy way to export my tileset so that each tile is a seperate image file? I want to be able to import it into my game engine that way. Thank you for this awesome tool and for making it open-source!

Hy, this should be possible through making an extension

Edit: it seems this feature was just added today so i think it'll be available by default in pixelorama 1.1.9

(You can try it out through the nightly build https://nightly.link/Orama-Interactive/Pixelorama/workflows/dev-desktop-builds/master )
