Bubble Burst

Welcome to Bubble Burst! A game that will make you lose trust in your friends. Originally made within 48 hours for Global Game Jam Athens 2025.

The game includes two main decks: the Secret Role Deck and the Main Playing Card Deck.

These are the Secret Role Cards: Each player takes a role from the Role Deck. Most have 'Bubbles', but among them one is the 'Imposter'.

These are the Regular Cards:

The Magnifying Glass: Instantly reveals a player's role, but they lose, regardless of whether they are a bubble or an imposter. You cannot use it on yourself.

Soap: You gain a bubble for yourself.

Balloon Blower: You give a bubble to anyone, including yourself.

Bubble Gun: You give bubbles to at least two players, and you can also use it on yourself.

Nails: Break a player's bubble. If they have none, they reveal their role and lose. You cannot use this on yourself.

Cactus: Removes a bubble from all players except you. If someone is left without bubbles, they reveal their role and lose.

The Strategy: Each player starts with five cards and an open bubble. The goal as a bubble is to discover who the cheater is, or as a cheater to eliminate all but one of the others' bubbles! When the deck runs out, only the most strategic players will survive, as the difficulty increases and the game is left with cards that only bring harm.
