A 2D platformer where you play as a bubble-casting wizard! Use your bubble to get across large gaps, tall obstacles and tricky spots. Be careful of spikes and fall damage!

Very nice idea and game. And hard levels cause i think the movement is a bit fast and can't make small steps. The only other issue i found personaly was that Q was canceled when i moved. My intuition was that either i can Q and move at the same time or when i pressed Q first, then the arrows movement should not be allowed.
Also something really minor sometimes i died but still turned to a bubble.

Thanks for the feedback! We will most likely make a post-jam update at some point and we will improve upon some things. It is intentional that the player needs to stay still in order to cast the bubble, but we will reconsider if it has to remain this way. Really appreciate you letting us know about your intuition though, we will keep your feedback in mind!

horrible controls - all too cramped together

Thanks for the feedback! Do you have any different control set in mind? You can also change the controls from the menu by selecting Settings, Controls, changing the shortcut profile to Custom, and start making changes to the controls you want.

i would prefer to use arrow keys for movement but that doesnt seem to be an option ?

Good idea, we just added arrow keys for movement, besides just WASD.

I think the second level might be introducing too many ways to use the bubble without checkpoints. I gave up at the "spike corridor" right before the gate.

Thanks for the feedback! You are right that checkpoints would be a good addition. The game was made for GGJ in the span of 48 hours so we didn't have much time to add them, but if we continue the game post-jam, we will definitely add them.

Seems great, but i am terrible at this, i couldn´t pass the first gap when you turn into a bubble...lol.
